Who you're contracting with
Foil My Car (“we”, “us”, “the Studio”) is a car detailing and wrapping service operating from Warehouse #10, 64th Street, Dubai Investment Park 2, Dubai, UAE.
By submitting a booking, enquiry or otherwise using the website you (“Client”) accept these Terms in full. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Services we provide
The Studio offers (see /services for the full menu):
- Paint Protection Film (PPF) installation
- Ceramic coating application
- Color change and partial vinyl wrapping
- Matte, chrome, satin and carbon-fibre wraps
- Dechroming, rims & caliper painting
- Multi-stage paint correction and detailing
- Touchless car wash & ceramic-safe maintenance
Service descriptions, materials and lead times shown on the website are indicative. The final scope is confirmed in writing on the work order before any film, coating, or paint is applied.
Bookings
- Submitting a booking via /booking, by WhatsApp or by phone is a request, not a confirmed slot. We confirm slots in writing within one business day.
- Bookings can be rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice.
- Same-day cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee of up to 25% of the quoted job value, charged at our discretion.
- We reserve the right to refuse service for vehicles in unsafe condition, under finance restrictions that prohibit modification, or where the requested work would compromise the factory paint or our reputation.
Pricing & payment
- Quoted prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and inclusive of UAE VAT at the applicable rate.
- Prices shown on /services are typical starting points. Final pricing depends on vehicle size, panel condition, film series, and any prep work required (paint correction, decontamination, panel removal).
- A deposit of up to 30% may be required to reserve specialty films (chrome, custom-print, large kits). Deposits are non-refundable once materials are ordered.
- Final payment is due on completion before vehicle handover. We accept bank transfer, debit/credit card via the studio POS, and approved corporate accounts.
Warranty
- Each service carries the warranty stated on the work order — typically 2–10 years against installation defects (lifting, peeling, bubbling, discoloration not caused by external damage).
- Warranty does not cover: stone chips, accidents, swirl marks or scratches from improper washing, damage from automatic brushes, or use of solvent-based cleaners not approved for the film/coating.
- Warranty claims require the original work order, dated photographs of the issue, and inspection at our DIP 2 studio. Approved claims are rectified at no charge during the warranty period.
- Warranty is voided by: third-party rework on the same panels, unauthorised re-painting, accident damage, off-road use, or removal of factory trim without our consent.
Vehicle condition & risk
- You confirm that you are the registered owner of the vehicle, or that you have the owner's authorisation to commission this work.
- Pre-existing paint defects (chips, scratches, fading, prior repaints) may affect the install quality and longevity. We document the vehicle's condition at intake with dated photography. Any latent defects discovered during prep are reported before work continues.
- The Client is responsible for the vehicle while it is at the studio for routine items: personal belongings, cash, electronics and accessories. We accept no liability for items left in the vehicle.
Liability
- Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim arising out of a service is limited to the value paid by the Client for that service.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses such as loss of resale value, loss of use, or business losses, except where UAE law makes such limitations unenforceable.
- The Client's vehicle is covered by our commercial garage-keepers insurance while at the studio. Major incidents (fire, flood, theft on premises) are routed through that insurance.
Photography & portfolio rights
We routinely photograph completed builds for our portfolio (/gallery, our Instagram and other marketing). By booking, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use such photographs for portfolio and marketing purposes without showing the licence plate.
You may withdraw this licence at any time by emailing foilmycar.fca@gmail.com and we'll remove the photos from public surfaces within 30 days.
Intellectual property
The website, including the design, logo, brand “Foil My Car”, the car-mark and copy, are owned by Foil My Car and protected by UAE intellectual property law. You may not copy, frame or republish material from this site without our written consent.
RTA & vehicle registration
For full color-change wraps and chrome wraps, you are responsible for updating your vehicle registration with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to reflect the new appearance. We provide before/after photography and an installation certificate to support your application; the RTA update itself is not part of our service.
Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events outside reasonable control: severe weather, supplier delivery failure, governmental restrictions, or pandemics. We'll communicate timeline impact promptly and reschedule without penalty.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute will first be addressed in good faith between the parties, then by mediation, and only failing that referred to the courts of the Emirate of Dubai, whose jurisdiction is exclusive.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the version. The Terms in force at the time of your booking govern that booking.
